Files on regulation of wage rates of workers employed in public works projects, 1954-1976.

Each county file includes resolutions, contracts, or agreements from government or private firms undertaking public works projects; lists of prevailing wage rates for various construction positions (e.g., operating engineers, plumbers); and correspondence acknowledging receipt of agreements on employee wages. Also included in the file is correspondence (ca. 1970) from the U. S. Construction Industry Stabilization Committee reviewing and approving the wage rate agreements.
